Good video but there is a "catch". Unfortunately the frost proof ones sometimes are not that easy to change as those "classic" faucets were. And many of the recent installs were made with frost proof faucets.

Are there classes I can take to learn this part of the job?

I just don’t trust propress not to develop pinhole/blow by leaks around 20-30 years. Oxidation will get in between the layers because there’s no solder there preventing copper oxide from forming in humid environments. I think it’ll make an uneven surface that the o ring can’t fully seal against…. Just my prediction Pros and cons to every plumbing system. Money, labor, reliability, ability to get parts 20 years later…. But I definitely trust sweated type L copper

if you could replace hose bib under 4 minutes then maybe it did not have to be replaced at all.

What to do if pipe coming out of wall is angled so pipes won’t line up to tread.

Great video. Question, at 3:06, it seems like the leveler is showing high towards the left. I thought you said that it should be sloping towards the drain (which is on the left). If that is the case, then the right side should be higher on the level, no?

Hi Folks, My eyes do not see so well, but vent pipes still get graded, and yes, they still get reamed before you chemically weld the joints. I could not tell if that got done. And do not forget the fire stopping. (On another video?) Respectfully, R.

Does anyone know if I can find a 5/8” extension? I can’t seem to find that size anywhere. I have those cheap push pull shut off valves with the supply line crimped to it so I can’t just get a longer hose

For beginners., you should have started with the putting strainers on sink

Is it just the screws that hold it in place or is there a locking mechanism inside the tube that locks it in place what you turn it 1/4 turn??
